Hill Country Flood Relief

To our dear neighbors in the Texas Hill Country πŸ’š

Words alone could never be enough in moments like this.

As news of the devastating floods has reached us, our hearts have been broken alongside yours. This region β€” one of the most beautiful, peaceful, and cherished parts of our great state β€” is now facing a heartbreak beyond what any of us can imagine.

As a mom, as a fellow Texan, and simply as a human being, I cannot begin to comprehend the pain of those who are grieving unimaginable loss. To the families mourning loved ones and to those still clinging to hope, waiting for news, our prayers are with you. We are holding space in our hearts for your sorrow, your fear, and your perseverance.

The Texas Hill Country has always been a place of beauty and resilience. And while the waters may have tried to steal peace from your communities, they cannot take away your strength or your spirit. Please know that we see you, we are grieving with you, and we are committed to walking beside you in the days and weeks to come.

May God bring comfort to the brokenhearted, hope to the waiting, and peace to all whose lives have been forever changed.

Our hearts are with you now and always.

With deepest sympathy and unwavering support,

Carrie Colbert
